This Privacy Policy explains how AmaFans collects, uses, and protects your personal information, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email, date of birth, payment details
• Identity verification information: government-issued ID and supporting verification details, for Creators and, where required for NSFW access, for Fans
• Usage data: content viewed, purchases made, device and browser information
• Content you upload, and metadata associated with it, including invisible watermarking used for content protection

3. Why We Collect It

• To verify your age and identity, as required by law and by our payment partners
• To provide and improve the platform, process payments, and deliver content
• To detect and prevent fraud, content leaks, and policy violations
• To comply with our legal obligations, including under the Films and Publications Act

4. How We Protect It

• Identity verification documents are stored separately from general account data, with restricted access limited to compliance and verification functions
• We apply reasonable technical and organisational security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, as required under POPIA
• Verification records are retained only as long as necessary to meet our legal and compliance obligations, after which they are securely deleted

5. Your Rights

• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations
• You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your information has been mishandled
