What is AmaFans? AmaFans is South Africa first creator monetisation platform built specifically for Mzansi. Creators earn money through subscriptions, pay-per-view posts, tips, direct messages, digital products, bookings, and live streams — all paid in Rand via PayShap and other SA payment methods.

Who can join AmaFans? Anyone 18 years or older. Both creators and fans must be 18+ to access the platform.

Is AmaFans only for South Africans? AmaFans is built for South African creators and fans but is accessible to anyone 18+ globally. All transactions are in ZAR.

Is AmaFans free to join? Yes. Creating a fan account is completely free. Creators pay no upfront fees — we only take our 20% platform fee when you earn.

FOR FANS

How do I subscribe to a creator? Create a free account, browse creators on the Explore page, click on a profile you like, and tap Subscribe. You will be prompted to add a payment method and confirm your subscription.

How much do subscriptions cost? Creators set their own prices. Browse creator profiles to see their subscription rates.

How do I pay? AmaFans supports PayShap and other SA payment methods. All payments are in South African Rand — no forex fees, no dollar conversions.

Will my subscription automatically renew? Yes. Subscriptions renew monthly unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime in your account settings and keep access until the end of the billing period.

Can I get a refund? Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of payment where the creator failed to deliver promised content. See our Refund Policy for full details. Contact support@amafans.co for refund requests.

Can I message creators directly? Yes. Creators may offer paid or free direct messaging. Check each creator profile for their messaging options.

What is PPV content? Pay-per-view content is exclusive posts that fans unlock with a one-time payment, separate from the subscription. Once unlocked, the content is yours to view on the platform.

Can I book a creator? Yes. Creators offer virtual 1-on-1 sessions, group sessions, and in-person bookings for events, coaching, appearances, and more. Check their profile for booking options and pricing.

Can I buy digital products from creators? Yes. Creators sell digital products including fitness programmes, recipe packs, music mixes, guides, and more through their Shop. Browse a creator profile and tap Shop to see what they offer.

How do I cancel my subscription? Go to Settings — Subscriptions — find the creator — Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.

How do I report a creator? Use the Report button on any profile or content. Our team reviews all reports within 48 hours.

FOR CREATORS

How do I become a creator? Register an account, complete your profile, and start posting. Set up your subscription price, shop products, and booking availability from your settings.

How much does AmaFans take? AmaFans retains 20% of all earnings as a platform fee. You keep 80% of everything fans pay you — subscriptions, PPV, tips, messages, shop sales, and bookings.

When do I get paid? Payouts are processed fortnightly directly to your SA bank account via PayShap.

What content can I post? You can post photos, videos, voice notes, livestreams, and text posts. You can also sell digital products through your Shop and offer bookings. All content must comply with our Terms of Service and South African law.

How do I set up my Shop? Go to your profile and tap Shop — Manage Products. Add your digital products, set prices, and choose your delivery method. Fans can browse and purchase directly from your profile.

How do I set up Bookings? Go to Bookings — Manage Availability. Add your session types, dates, times, prices, and capacity. Fans can book directly from your profile.

How do I set up PayShap payouts? Go to Settings — Payout Settings and add your SA bank account details. We will verify your account before your first payout.

Do I need to pay tax on my earnings? Yes. You are responsible for declaring your AmaFans earnings to SARS. We provide monthly earnings statements. We recommend consulting a tax professional if you earn above the SARS threshold.

ACCOUNT & SECURITY

How do I reset my password? Click Forgot Password on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your registered email.

Can I have multiple accounts? One account per person. Operating multiple accounts is a violation of our Terms of Service.

How do I delete my account? Go to Settings — Account — Delete Account.

Is my personal information safe? Yes. AmaFans complies with POPIA. We use SSL encryption, secure payment processing, and strict access controls. We never sell your personal data.
